چکیده

Medicinal plants are effective natural anti-inflammatory, anti-pyretic, and anti-analgesic agents. Inflammation is a complicated biological defense reaction of vascular tissues to potentially damaging stimuli such as bacteria, damaged cells, or irritants. The current study aimed establish the antipyretic, analgesic properties E. globulus essential oil. In this research, 36 albino rats weighing 140-170g on average were employed. divided into three groups (control, standard experimental group). Control group consisted 6 in each whereas 24 rats. All treated with carrageenan for induction oedema brewer’s yeast induce pyrexia check anti-pyretic activity acetic acid pain activity. normal saline all 100u µl activities. Standard diclofenac antiinflammatory activities paracetamol antipyretic oils injected abdominal muscles intraperitoneal tissues. maximum percentage inhibition leaves oil action was 54.01%. suppression fever by 75.44% efficacy. highest against 25%. Significant effects demonstrated at 50µl/L, 100µl/L, 12.5µl/L doses, respectively, when compared control group. From overall result, it concluded that injection globules muscle may possess significant Our scientifically supports traditional use medicine.

Anti-inflammatory, analgesic and antipyretic activities of Linum usitatissimum L. (flaxseed/linseed) fixed oil.

The fixed oil of L. usitatissimum (flaxseed/linseed) inhibited PGE2-, leukotriene-, histamine- and bradykinin-induced inflammation. The oil also inhibited arachidonic acid-induced inflammation, suggesting its capacity to inhibit both cyclooxygenase and lipoxygenase pathways of arachidonate metabolism. In tail immersion model, the oil raised the pain threshold to a lesser extent than morphine bu...

Anti-inflammatory, Analgesic and Antipyretic Activities of the Aqueous Methanolic Extract of Berberis Calliobotrys in Albino Mice.

The aqueous methanolic extract of stem part of Berberis calliobotiys (AMEBC) was evaluated for anti-inflammatory, analgesic and antipyretic activities in albino mice. Anti-inflammatory activity was evaluated by using carrageenan and albumin induced paw edema, while the analgesic effect was assessed by using formalin-induced paw licking and acetic acid induced abdominal writhing in mice. The bre...
